: MediaTakeOut.com learned that rapper WALE is in some ISH. You see this past weekend he was performing at a concert in Philadelphia which was attended by radio personality Amanda Diva. Well during Wale's performance, Amanda clowned him on Twitter - basically calling him A LAME.
Well when Wale's performance was over, he checked Twitter, saw what Amanda wrote - and then CONFRONTED HER.
Here is what Amanda is saying about the incident, via Twitter:
I keep being told to "not sweat" that @Wale came in my face trying to fight me ovr a tweet. Y in hip hop do we excuse such behavior? This is not a perfect world we live in somebody is always going to have something to say about you.
What is that saying, if the people are talking about you then you must be doing something right, or something like that? Sticks and stones, we learned that on the playground, now as an adult we want to be sensitive. A sign of good character, is how a person handles difficult or comfortable situations, will they keep a cool head or loose control?
I do not know Wale's childhood situation but this reminds me of the larger issue of men exhibiting female characteristics. It's mostly men who have grown up in single family homes with the mother acting as both parents.
I know about to step on some toes but lets face it, a woman cannot teach a boy how to be a man and I am saying this as a black female. We can teach our man child manners, proper etiquette, and correct behavior but we cannot not convey the emotions of a male, we cannot provide male bonding experience, nor can we advise our male children on lifes situations from a male perspective.
Kids more often emulate what they see rather than what they are told. So a male growing up around a strong female even in the best situations is going to copy what he sees his mother do. I remember Kanye West speaking to this fact in a interview, which is why I am not puzzled by his behavior, (acting out, sensitivity, outburst, drama queen, emotional), which side of the species does that most often describe. Not to say all females are like this but it is the female species more prone to act like this than the male, or at least it was that way.
I remember a few years back, observing males exhibiting characteristics more synonymous with female traits and I was puzzled, because I was seeing this type of behavior at a dizzying rate; perhaps the local news was right with the high level of birth control chemicals being found in the water tested by experts. Which BTW I still believe is responsible for a lot off oddities no matter what the experts say. But after talking to a lot of the males I found out they grew up in single family homes, where either men were coming in and out of their lives or there were no men around them at all.
I know this does not speak to every single home situation with a women raising children by herself. Because some kids grow up just fine, but my point is, it really does take a village, where one parent might have a weakness another parent may have strength the same with grandparents, aunts/uncle and other extended family.

Since when is it an offense for an editorial-type of radio personality to say her opinion about an artist? It's kind of her job.
