I love me some Bill. Slowly but surely Obama's followers are falling to the way side. First Cory Booker, then Colin Powell and now the Clintons. The truth is that the economy stinks and Obama is promoting the wrong things such as *** marriage, not job creation. It's time for him to go so his wife can daydream about being Beyonce and he can go sing in a cabaret somewhere. We need a real experienced leader who will repair this country.

I don't know why anyone would advocate for these tax cuts when they served no purpose and only added to the deficit. Clinton had some bold ideas when he was President, but his welfare plan, lack of healthcare reform, NAFTA and his banking deregulation (which caused the housing crisis) shows that much of what's happening today was caused by him.
@Stillpompous, Obama served his purpose which was to serve as the first minority president because he is mixed race not just Black. He had four years and I think most of us knew he would not leave behind any sort of great legacy. The gig is up. It's time for him to go and to put someone with real corporate experience in like Romney. It's not about race or whether we like him or not. It's about the economy and getting Americans back to work

What exactly are MItt Romney’s policy proposals make our economy better? Has he ever really addressed them? sans promoting all the negativity for Obama's policies I mean. It really speaks volumes to the underlying reason why some people dislike President Obama enough to repeatedly post hate mail with no clear statement about how Romney’s positions would be better. While Im an avid Obama supporter, in retrospect I dont think America deserves a president of his calibre since medocrity has become the order of the day with the average american. They really deserve Romney.

Voters who turned out for him in 2008 were educated and informed beyond 'main stream' media, same voters who will again be looking@Romney's skew to the uber right such as endorsing Paul Ryan's budget, endorsing more military spending, austerity for vets, the elderly & the umemployed ntm more tax cuts for the people who need it the least.
Bottomline Romney is out of touch with the vast majority of American citizens, in april he told students at an Ohio University to borrow money from their parents if they needed money to get themselves started up, failing to realise that not all parents had the money like his parents did. I could go on an on about this man's inablibyt to connect but I will digress.

No one is saying that Obama should have completely fixed the economy by now, but *** he ain't done a *** thing but let it get worse. I simply can not support this. Now, what happened in Wisconsin I don't consider it a setback. Those Union members who left, they'll see why they needed a Union if the Republicans have their way. My bet is they'll run back to the Union. But like Great1 said, Obama is still popular in Wisconsin. So while Walker might have survived his recall, Obama still has good standing there as well.

Most jobs require that their employees be team players, work together. Obama is the odd man out. Congress, including many in his own party do not want to work with him. He responds by yelling and screaming at them. That is not a good leader, but then again Obama has no..I mean NO leadership experience. A president must lead a nation and he can't even work with Congress. In the end, Americans are hurting. I say put Romney in and let him get the job done. Sometimes you lose out simply because no one like you. And Obama has few friends in Congress.

The only people who don't see the two faces of Bill are blacks. He got on Arsenio, played the sax, talked a good talk and wow, he is the first black president. Bill Clinton did a good job while president as evidenced of the residual surpluses and only in that way he really helped blacks. All his other polices such as the welfare reform act failed blacks and Hispanics more than expected. If Bush dumb *** had kept those surpluses and did not lie about God to get us into wars, he too would have had the potential to do well for the country and even with Katrina, bet blacks would have easily forgave him than they would Obama.

An interesting conversation. Wish I joined it earlier as it is no longer on the MTO front page. However, there are a few things to point out with respect to Obama and Romney. They have the same stance on:
Drug legalization Ending NDAA and the government's supposed authority to indefinitely detain anyone suspected of terrorism Ending the Patriot Act Cutting military spending Ending corporate welfare Ending the nation's activist policies of invading other countries Eliminating the Presidential "kill list" The Federal Reserve
While I do believe there is a difference in philosophy at the local level between Republicans and Democrats, as you climb the political ladder, these differences become grayer and grayer. That fact is, the international wars that the Left doesn't approve of couldn't happen without their approval and the welfare the Right doesn't approve of couldn't happen without their approval.
Very few members of our House and Senate aren't in the pockets of special interests or have a consistent message and record to back that up. The special favors that are done with respect to corporations (big business, big pharma, big banks) are carried out by both Parties on a regular basis and that is what is driving the country into the ground.
Besides, can anyone tell me why we are still in Afghanistan and Iraq and Libya and Japan and Germany? What are we doing? Why did it take a decade, trillions of dollars, thousands of American soldier lives, and millions of dead Afghans and Iraqis to kill one man (Bin Laden)? A man who we armed and trained (along with his Mujahideen fighter) in the 80s against Russia and whose family ties with the Bushes go way back? I mean, we have, by far, the largest and most effective military in the world. And now that he is dead, we're still there! For what?
It comes down to what you believe should be the scope of government. If you believe a few hundred politicians have the authority to create bureaucracies that hire their buddies to regulate the lives of 330 million Americans, or if you believe in a limited government as outlined in the Constitution. The problem is, no matter how well intentioned a program may be, it inevitably degenerates into a monstrosity when run by the government. Sure, we may endorse a President or congressman that knows whats best for us and wants to ban sugar drinks because their bad for us. But once that power is granted, the next congressman may want to ban pornography because he believes its bad for us. Why concede our liberties to Big Brother?
We need to take an honest look at our candidates and really ponder if they're doing whats best for us, especially if they have the same stance on the big issues.
One thing is for sure, Romney is not the answer to Obama. There really isn't appreciable difference between these two.
