Wrong story dumbazzes. What kind of staff does this over and over again. Anywho. I did click on the political link of the website and it had a bunch of negative stories about Obama. Articles talked about how he has lost young supporters and another one about how his honeymoon is over.
Anyone who thinks this man is going to win this election handedly is in for a surprise. People are unhappy and it's not just the Republicans. Obama quite simply never got the job done.
MrRadical
There isn't a viable third party candidate because the Democrats and Republicans, in collusion with the media has made it impossible for anyone to run for President without a war chest of a billion dollars.
Not to mention most Americans treat politics like a football game where they root for their favorite "team." If a third party candidate was elected he would be a lame duck from day 1 because most Dems and Repubs would never work with him.
Before this can happen though, America has to hit rock bottom in order to wake the people up and demand something different.
@greg
Agreed. People wanting a third option is a good thing but there is a difference between aspirations and naivete. Our society is not where it needs to be for a viable third option like u said. Even in our current system a candidate cannot even be truly honest about what he believes because people as a whole do not think objectively so they all have to pander on some level. The right has made this an artform of late.
Howard Dean's front running campaign came to a crashing halt cause he yelled "yyyyaaawwww." How pathetic is that? What does that say about our society? We claim to want change but for the most part people want to be coddled. We are not ready to change our thought process to facilitate true change.
@Kill the Buddha
Or how the Right just destroyed John Kerry with lies about his service... or how they did the same to John McCain when he ran against Bush the first time. Even called his adopted daughter "his half black *** child" even though the McCains adopted the girl from Bangladesh. And the people fell for it.

I guess that's a way to look at it. But I don't necessary think America has to hit rock bottom to elect a third party candidate. But maybe it’s not that America isn’t ready for a third-party presidential candidate. After all, when the right person has come along someone like Ross Perot in 1992 he has been able to win a significant chunk of votes and arguably swing the outcome of an election. If Mr. Perot hadn’t flaked off in the middle of the campaign, dropping out temporarily, it’s possible he could have even won. Now we're basically stuck with two candidate that sucks.
I will never accept the two-party dilemma. It is based on the lesser-of-two-evils fallacy - a false choice that carries with it a serious consequence: producing more evil on both. Why should we continue on for several more decades being drawn into the downward spiral into maximum evil? Surely it is obvious to everybody that Democrats can always be a little less evil than Republicans, who are more evil with every passing election.No, voting to make greater evil is clearly a less desirable outcome than seeing Romney being elected president. Better to work from a long-term class interested perspective than to continue with the losing proposition we call the Democratic Party.
If we are going to use the ballot box for anything, it should be to hold our elected representatives responsible for their failure to represent us - not a vehicle through which to express our fear. Otherwise, the two-party system remains what it has become: the dictatorship of the capitalist class. And we will keep losing.
@greg
That whole swift boat thing was like some art of war hoodoo lol. They tried and failed with the whole Obama elitist thing cause he went to Harvard. But that's the people who claim to have the moral high ground for u. Try to make a negative of an African-American from a single parent home graduating from Harvard. Smh
Obama headline - 'Gangsta Kid' story, mto get your ish together!!
Republicans need to stop being so hypocritical. I bet if they removed the name "Obama' from Obamacare they would miraculously realise they're actually protesting the "Care" for thousands of sick and suffering human beings. NTM this same bill was originally submitted by republicans. Further why protesting having to pay for something you are already paying for through outrageous premiums that only continue to rise. They have a chance to be part of a solution by offering alternatives, yet do they? nope, they choose to persist only in protesting because ultimately they just want to rant about a President they dont like. Then again this is the same group of people who constantly compare 8 yrs of Bush presidency to Obama's less than 4. cu. Also while a huge part of Romney's platform is repealling Obamacare, has he yet consciously addressed his alternative? Things that make you go .....................
What up Greg. I predict it's gonna get crazy come August-November. That's when everything really heats up. I'm gonna stick around for a while.
I've also been losing my patience with non sensual rhetoric like the comment just above mine (since WHEN has Obama treated balcks with "disdain"??). Might get a bit heated in here.
