Hendrix was much more than a " Drug Addict" in fact I don't even think that term applies. He used Drugs yes, he is also one of the greatest black musicians in history. If Hendrix is a drug addict then half the people you praise on this site are certified Crack Heads and *** Mongerers. My patience is wearing thin with this site. I used to come here for a mild diversion, but now I see this site a minstrel show of epic proportions. @kasaar
Andre 3000 will probably do a better job than Wood Harris. I can't wait to see this film. Andre is very sexy in a Jimi Hendrix kind of way! You have a lot of god dam nerve describing Jimi Hendrix as a drug addict only. This is a person who reached epic proportions musically at the ages of 24 through 27. This is a person who is widely considered the greatest guitarist in music history. This person is an icon. This was a black man who made $100,000 a show in the late 60's and contributed money to MLK and the black panther party. To this day no one has been able to come close to him in Rock *** Roll music. He still graces the cover of the Rolling Stone magazine occasionally. There is a studio in NYC that was built just for him and is used today by the great ones such as Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Madonna, etc. Drug addict? Yeah marijuana, and occasionally the 60's version of ecstasy (Acid). BIG DEAL! You don't describe someone of his status as a major drug addict and use this description only. I suggest you consider redacting this article or the words used to describe the late Hendrix. And you better hope his sister Ms Janie Hendrix does not see this article and sue your ***. In sum, whoever wrote this article needs to have the *** slapped out of him or her.
