You buy his album because you "heard" he doesn't cheat on his girlfriend? Wow! Black women in America are screwed up in the head. You are so desperate for a functional relationship, you are rewarding dudes for not cheating.
The reason I read this blog, isn't for the stupid stories. It's a study on 'black' culture. The writers manufacture stories to appeal to low income black people in America. It says a lot about about values of your subculture. Unfortunately, American blacks have a very adolescent perspective on life. Your culture is based on ego gratification.
The reason this website glorifies pregnancy, is indicative of women with low self esteem. For women who don't have confidence, getting pregnant is a way to have control over your life. Black women have turned getting knocked up into an accomplishment, as opposed to the natural outcome of a stable relationship. It's like 'buying' respect from members of your group. And all you have to do is spread your legs.
So, black girls start to see pregnancy as an accessory. No different than a black dude buying big rims for a car. Its more of a social statement than anything. Girls get attention (which is highly valued) from other women in the group. Again, this has nothing to do with the kid, it's all self gratification.
What happens next, is the newness of having a kid wears off, you are no longer 'special', and the reality sets in that you actually have to pay for this new expense. You chiks are not stupid. You know the consequences of being a 'baby mama', but that urge for self gratification is too strong.
Like children, you choose to satisfy your ego, as opposed to rational thinking. The messed up thing is, your decision is now affecting the kid, and society as a whole because now I have to pay for the results of your selfishness.
I hope this glorification of being pregnant stops. It's not a 'blessed event'. Your'e not special because you got knocked up. You chiks need to stop this ridiculousness.
