First of all, the child is supposed to live the same lifestyle as the person paying the child support. Chris Bosh is making out like a fat rat and he is skimping by. Nas has to pay Kelis $55,000 a month in child support and Chris Bosh has more than enough money to come up with more than $2400 for his child. I'm not coming to her defense, but she did say she looked for jobs and had job offers, but Chris took that away from her. I feel her because these men are always trying to get off easy when it comes to their kids. In my opiniion, he should be doing a hell of a lot more for his baby. The same love he gives to his new baby and the same things his new baby has, his baby with her should have the same because they both came from him and they both deserve it. If your son can live in a multi million dollar home and receive nice things from you, then you should be more than willing to furnish the same lifestyle for your daughter. No child should feel inferior to their siblings when it involves the love of a parent. A parent should show their children equal love regardless of if you are with the other parent or not. His daughter needs the same financial support and stability he is giving his son. If he feels that she needs to work and do her part for the child, then he *** step in the way of her obtaining employment that SHE feels is SUFFICIENT financially for her to provide a good lifestyle for their daughter. $2500 a month is more than enough to provide for your child and Chris Bosh is doing everything legally required of him so technically doing everything right. However, wouldn't it be nice, since he is a wealthy man, to provide a nicer lifestyle for the woman that once meant so much to him and is the mother of his first child. i know single mothers making 8.25 an hour working 30-40 hours a week which means they are making less then that on a monthly basis that are still holding it down and taking care of their kids. When he wants her to be able to go to his games, his baby mama won't let him. I would say that if she learned how to budget that child support since she is unemployed she could do just fine. Me and 2 yr old my son live in a nice spacious apartment 700, I spend $300 a month on food, my utlities are 80-90, daycare really nice 105 a week, clothes, shoes, personal items 350-400 a month,insurance taken from my check every month, extras I find cheaper alternatives or free options for entertainment, car insurance 120 a month, gas 160 even with the basics she needs to learn how to budget. Im a single parent and agree there are people getting by on way less than that, give me that and I will show her how to make it.
