: MediaTakeOut.com has some VERY SAD NEWS. Yesterday, legendary singer/rapper Lauryn Hill pleaded guilty in court to three counts of tax evasion on more than $1.5 million in income earned from 2005 to 2007.
Earlier this month, Lauryn gave a defiant explanation on her Tumblr page, when she blogged that by not filing taxes, she "embraced my right to resist a system intentionally opposing my right to whole and integral survival."
The government HATES when people (especially FAMOUS PEOPLE) claim that hey have a LEGAL RIGHT to avoid taxes. Usually when that happens - they THROW THE BOOK AT THEM like they did Wesley. Hill faces up to three years in prison and will be sentenced in November. We're told that she will DEFINITELY serve jail time.
I feel no sympathy for her. Carry that militant attitude out the country Pay your *** taxes!!!!
Meanwhile Wesley Snipes is like "that wench better get 3 years just like me...."

For someone who CAME across as lyrically intelligent/conscious, she surely has made some very poor life choices. It can happen to any one of us, but having 6 kids out of wedlock, whether you can afford them or not, and now this. It all makes me SMDH. I hate this for her still and I pray for her. While she was honest with why she hadn't paid her taxes, this is the same excuse Wesley gave. I once owed the IRS $800 and they acted like I owed them 800 million. Needless to say I paid that $800 and vowed to do my best not to owe them, but have them owe me!

She has a point (although I do PAY my taxes) where do you think the tax money collected by the IRS (private corporation) goes (Federal Reserve), and who do you think owns the Federal Reserve, Ill give you a clue its not the Federal Government (private bankers) whom our government borrows money from (you cant borrow money from yourself). A lot of people do not agree with the practice of tax collection because they KNOW excuse me think (big brother is watching) it is ILLEGAL (meaning-There is NO law on the books for american workers in the private sector to pay a tax on their labor and compensation for services).
