And that DRAMA played out yesterday, BEHIND THE SCENES at the Awards show. You see, Awards show producers scheduled a "top secret" Jay Z performance. Tells a producer, "The set was supposed to start with G.O.O.D music's MERCY, then Kanye would come out and do Theraflu, then Jay Z would meet him on stage and they'd end with N*ggas In Paris." But that's NOT the way it went down.
First G.O.O.D. music performed . .. then Kanye . . . but NO JAY Z. The insider added, "Kanye had to improvise, and freestyle a track he was working on. It was so last minute that he had to do it [without music] because no one had it ready."
The insider added, Kanye West was reportedly FURIOUS with Jay Z - he texted him HUNDREDS of times leading up to the show - but Jay IGNORED THEM. And when Jigga arrived, almost 2 HOURS AFTER Kanye performed on stage. . . he told BET producers that "traffic" caused him to miss his performance. I think its a challenge of Egos in this friendship but a rift I don't see unless the Money made from the tour/collabo has a similar story to the beyonce destiny child story in which Kanye has every right not to want to be second to any man no matter what his place of business is. I don't think Jay would ruin this partnership but it will have its ego clashes and the people around them won't make it any easier.
@ tlacura: Body language is everything, just becux they were sitting together doesn't mean Beyonce likes kim. When Beyonce won her award, she only hugged Jay-Z. She didn't hug Kanye becux then she would have to hug kim which she wasn't bout to do. When Kanye and Jay Z won they award, Kanye went over and hugged Beyonce and as Beyonce and kim were sitting down, you can tell kim wanted to say something or maybe even go over and hug Beyonce but she knew better. kims body langauge was that she wanted to associate with Beyonce, but Beyonce body language *** Jay Z's is that they wanted nothing to do with her. kim got no respect from nobody at the awards, nobody hugged her, she was looking lonely and out of place.

I love Kanye and I relate to his public persona. I hate to see him waste his time and energy on that dude and his wife. I mean, as far as this Awards Show goes: the only reason that guy's wife was dancing from her chair all through the ceremony was to upstage Kim ***... because she KNEW that Ms. Kardashian would not be carrying on in such a way as to dance loosely or wildly like that. I noticed that. Kanye may not be as astute in business terms, which is why he'd make such headlines as this one... snubbed by these people.
You can't fake the body language between those two dudes, no beef going on. That was one of the worst BET Awards shows I've ever seen, though. Frankie Beverly dissappointed me as did D'Angelo...they both should have been savvy enough to have good bacdup hitting their vocals that they can no longer hit. Kim definitely thought she was going to get a kiss and go up on stage with him for the first award. And that's what her problem has always been her THIRST supersedes her!!
