Actually this does not make him Dumb nor does it make him Stupid. Many do not know this but D.C. applied for and was granted Statehood. Although D.C. has not been made a State as of yet, D.C. has the same rights as every other state... i.e., voting, tax paying, zip code etc... He could also be referring to Puerto Rico as well, which they are on the same line as D.C. when referring to States. So Dumb or Stupid, NOT.... Informed... yes. There are 50 states in the USA. Hawaii and Alaska are ALREADY including in that 50. DC is a federal district not a state. This means that there is 50 states plus DC.
He's talking about the The US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. They are part of the USA as well as Guam, Samoa, and the Mariana Island. But you probably can only buy a Chris Brown album in the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
The USA also has Insulars (islands) in the Caribbean Sea and Pacific Ocean, which equals MORE territories.
It amazes me to see how many people that dont know basic info that was pounded into us year after year of going to school. I have a *** attention span so to listen to other converations I may write my states down in alphabetical order. Puerto Rico and Guam are US Territories, you're the ones who need to go back to school. Some people do refer to them as 'states' because they can vote in the primaries and such. Educated people understood exactly what he was saying, those who portray the image of being knowledgeable are only hurting themselves

What, many of you don't know is that there is NO such govt as the United States of America any longer, only the United States Corp which is a bureaucratic entity. The territories of so-called USA extends beyond the borders of the map. We live in North America aka Northwest Amexum which extends beyond Canada aka Canaan Land and Mexico aka Old Mex.

And, my last post, I don't believe most of the TERRITORIES pay federal taxes. This issue with this thread, the same as the Cleopatra and Italian threads, too many people run to Google and Wiki for information instead of staying out of something they're clueless about. That's the issue with the internet these days, anybody can post anything and people will believe it simply because the person is consistent about it. Look at all the illuminati videos on YouTube for an example. With that being said: there are only 50 states. The US does have territories with certain privileges as states, but they're not states. I won't copy and paste to prove my point. I just know that since third grade i never took home less than a 90 in any class pertaining to history. Ive been taking US history, criminal justice and Government since 2010 and haven't had a textbook that has listed territories as states. Then again, you can't argue fact with the ignorant.
By the way, there's one thing to think that we have 52 states, which is a very common mistake, but to not know that Alaska and Hawaii are states is just down right ignorant. I remember in third grade when the teacher gave us all maps to name all the states. Texas, our state, Hawaii and Alaska were correct on everyones paper. Hell, i remember listing 40 correctly. The class average was about 25. I would love to see the results from some of you, though lol.

There are 50 states (PERIOD)! A territory is not a state. A commonwealth is still considered a state by all three branches of government and the US Constitution. There are 50 stars on the flag representing the 50 states of the union. There are 100 Senators in the US Senate with each state having two Senators. DC, Puerto Rico, Gaum, US Virgin Island have no voting representation in the Legislative Branch; hence, they donât have the same rights as other states. MTO, although your editors education level is highly questioned, you should do another article on the members of MTO who donât know there are only/exactly 50 states. They would never pass a citizenship test.
