: MediaTakeOut.com has learned that Tameka Foster Raymond's 11 year old son Kyle Glover suffered a near fatal accident on Lake Lanier in Georgia on Friday. Kyle Glover is the stepson of popular recording artist Usher.
Here's what happened. According to police, a boat was pulling Kyle and a 15 year old girl on an inner tube. When out of nowhere, a 38-year-old man driving a jet ski came out of no where and collided with the tube.
Kyle and the girl were both nearly killed by the collision. The two were both AIR LIFTED to the nearest hospital - with the girl being conscious, and Kyle completely out cold.
As of this morning, we're told that Kyle remains in critical condition. And that he has not yet regained consciousness.
Let's ALL pray that Kyle gets better soon.
EDITOR'S Update: According to our friends at TMZ, Kyle was declared brain dead this afternoon. Police are now looking into the 38 year old driver of the jet ski. There is some evidence that he was driving recklessly, and if so, he may be guilty of a homicide. Kyle was really a special young man, and if someone is responsible for this tragedy, he should be in JAIL.
We want to wish our heartfelt sympathy to Tameka, and all of Kyle's family. We're all praying that they have strength in this difficult time.

Y r people making negative comments on this thread? I just dont understand what her relationship with Usher has to do with an accident on the lake. People die in accidents everyday, has nothing to do with Karma. The person driving that JetSki is at blame for going to dayum fast, he knew he wasn't the only water vehicle enjoying water fun, *** for all we know he could have been drunk....
Even though I dont know this family I feel for any child that gets hurt, stranger or not. I pray he and the girl will pull through and that no brain damage was done. This is so sad and it could happen to any one of our children or family members. Ppl need tO think about that. I live in ATL, on the news It's being reported whoever was driving the jet ski was there with Kyle, so it could've been his Uncle, Father etc. In the end the only thing that matters is the child's life. What MTO doesnt report is that usher charted a plane to send Tameka to the Hospital if he can put their issues to the side and show concern for his stepson all of you other people hollering karma and other insensitive mess about Tameka should be able to overlook their personal drama at this time too. T.M.Z broke this story and reported who the actual children were involved at Lake Lanier in Atlanta. Prayers go out to them both for a full speedy recovery, but realistically a Jet Ski weighing between 250 and 450 pounds driving at any rate of speed into their fragile skulls doesn't look very encouraging. I hope Tameka, the boys father and the 15 year old girls parents have strong faith in God and trust in him no matter what the outcome is. As for people stating Karma on Tameka as to why something like this happened to one of her children,well that's just ridiculous! Accidents happen everyday to all walks of life, because of human error to innocent people and it has nothing to do with her very public/nasty divorce. They are now reporting that Tameka's 11 year old son Kyle is Brain Dead..... I have said a prayer for the family that they all will be comforted at this solemn time and that they will be able to uplift and help one another in the living to carry on. Someone commented on this thread that doctors and medicine is more helpful to people than putting they're hands together and whispering to themselves.... That's a SAD,SAD statement to make! I really hope this child makes it but unfortunately we all know that it is never a good outcome when someone is declared brain dead. May God be with the family. My God I have a 5 yr old son and I would go insane if something happened to him. I find it extremely disheartening that people will use GOD in the same sentence that they use the word "***" and "Evil" to refer to a woman who has essentially just lost her child. I'm sure no one on this blog knows Tameka personally, you only know what you've read on this site or in another tabloid and only she and Usher will know the real truth about what happened with their divorce. God does not put people through things they cannot handle. For all parties involved this should and WILL BE a wake up call. Fighting gets you nowhere in life and as we can see several beautiful CHILDREN are involved in this tragedy and not just those on the jet ski. He has brothers that look up to him and it will be EXTREMELY difficult for his siblings to understand why this has happened. He's an 11 year old boy that was following the example set by his parents. This isn't just a wake up call for Tameka and Usher....its a wake up call for ALL parents. Love your children as if its YOUR last day....not theirs...for children are too innocent to not be in the Lord's favor....its the adults that have to step up.

He is fully cooperating with police and they are currently re enacting the accident to see if charges should be filed. It appears it truly was an accident and there are no reports that the 38 year old was speeding. This is the second case like this at lame Lanier in the last month so the news is all over this. BTW this happened over a week ago, we are just finding out in the last 24 hours that it was ushers stepson. Also, as sad as it is, how is he going to have a "speedy recovery" from being BRAIN DEAD? @proverbial I normally don't comment on these threads especially bout religion, but u need to do your research before commenting on the bible. Proverbs is the old testament which meant they were still under the law of the old testament where burnt sacrament was the law and you had to petition for forgiveness through the burnt sacrifices for the atonement of ones sin. Read leviticus (law) chpt 1 where it tells one how to offer and prepare a sacrificial offering. One also had to confess their sins to a high priest who went to God on their behalf for forgiveness. In addition, if I'm not mistaken, Proverbs was written before the 10 commandments were given. (Everything in the bible is not sequential in dating or time) which meant in that dispensation the people were still held by the "law" ie. "An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, slavery and taxation". Moreover the beginning if the old testament serves more for an account of history not a guide of how to live ones life. Now we are not under and are do not abide by the law of that dispensation. We are under grace. For Christians believe and it is written that Jesus died for and bore all of our sins for he was the perfect sacrifice which meant we no longer have to offer burnt sacrament or petition a priest for forgiveness through God. Now we can pray directly to Jesus who goes to God on our behalf for no human is perfect which is why Jesus was and is " the perfect " sacrifice. In addition when the new testament was created Christians were to no longer live by the law in leviticus which is what that scripture you posted meant and was in reference to. Now any person regardless of their sin repented or unrepented can pray and God does hear a sinners prayer because of Jesus we are currently living under the dispensation of grace, and God loves everybody even a sinner like you and I. The paths of both kids and the jet ski driver need to be lifted up because I couldn't imagine going out with family and friends and ending the day with a life hanging in the balance while outsiders call you a murderer. This kid Kyle is a cutie and I'm sorry this has happened. Some suggested they donate his organs so he'll live on. I can't even imagine having to make such a decision. I empathize with is FATHER who has been there for him from day one but the media only reports him as USHER'S STEP SON. FYI: Brain dead means that there is no chance of recovery. This is a tragic situation...but my question is where was his mother and father and why would they allow him to do anything at that lake without them there? There have been so many incidents on that lake it is ridiculous to know that she or whomever let him go out there without her. I have a 12 year old and there I no way they are going anywhere potentially dangerous without me with them. Not 6 flags, swimming, to a lake or beach! First, as a mother and human being, my heart goes out to Tameka, Kyle's father, stepfather Usher and all who knew and loved this beautiful child personally. And yes, as a Christian, I will pray for his healing. The God I serve is still able to make a way out of no way and bring forth miracles that defy man and medicine. But I would like to know who was in charge of this young man's care while his mother was away? . Who was providing adult supervision during the lake visit? An 11-year-old should not be allowed to make the risky decision to float in an inner tube with lake traffic that now threatens his life. What a tragedy! I am profoundly saddened and continue to hope for the best outcome possible. But children must be properly supervised at all times. No shade to Tameka; just a cautionary observation. Usher also showed his heart by chartering a plane for a grieving mother. Now is the time to unite in support of a child fighting for his life, not Team Tameka or Team Usher. How about Team Kyle?

This is extremely sad. If he's brain dead I hate to say it he is dead. This may sound cruel it a matter of his heart stopping or his parents let him go ( unplugging the vent). I know there are a lot of heavy hearts & pain that seems unbearable but hopefully their faith will see them though. The 38 year old man & 15 year old probably are in anguish & needs prayer too. Can you image an accident you cause resulting in someone death & another injuries especially if they are family or friends.

I'm sure Tameka is trying to figure out a way right now to channel this tragedy into a reality show or some kind of extended fame. By Christmas she will have one titled "Life after losing a child" just like the Houstons are doing & the reason the Jacksons are touring right now. At the end of the day it's all about $$$
