Although I do not agree with ***, I do agree with some of the things you said in your post. Like you, I can't help but question some of the characters on these threads, including illcee-1. I believe illcee-1 is a mixed man who works for M.T.O. and is required to come on these threads to speak negatively about the races, especially the Black race, to get hits for the company. The sad thing about his situation is that he comes from a group of respectable Black people who, I feel, would be greatly sadden to know he's disputing and degrading their black blood that circulates through his body. I try to over look the charades he plays on these threads, for I surmised that he needs the money, but I must admit--his work is extremely disappointing, for the very people who hated on him are now forcing him to hate his own people.
What gets me about this particular argument is this: I notice when the topic of *** comes up, a few people seem to take it to heart and explode, but when topics concerning the plight of Black people come up, you hear crickets--I wonder what makes for the extremes. Yesterday, this site (as my grandmother loved to say) "acted-a-monkey" when it came to the Jackson's and no extreme disgust was displayed, but when the topic of *** came to the forefront--we saw and see a fray.
