Better to read comments where no one is surprised at this. Even as a mutt, I know for a fact that racism is as virulent through out America forever and there ain't no change coming soon. It is what it is. I always remember reading what Skinner said that the more a white person claims to be a bible believing Christian the more likely they are to be distant from black folks. If any black folks believe white Christian who said they love Jesus will act differently towards them than those who don’t need a darn wake up call because these churches today are the most segregated institution there is – Racism and Religion... like partners in crime, lol.

I agree about blks pushing themselves on whites. This couple sort out looking for a predominately white church, they atleast could have joined If they really wanted to marry there. Far as a lawsuit against this all white church in the good old south; Yeah right! It will be stopped before it start. Baptist churches has boards in place whereas they pick and choose who will be pastors. They can vote them out.

This isn't Africa, If ppl don't like the laws move to Africa where they can sign an agreement between the 2. Over here if they choose to do that, when it comes time to add your spouse to job benefits, taxes etc. Don't complaint when you'll not allowed. And you know there's going to be complaining.
There's some benefits when signing those papers. If men feel the states will be unreasonable in his marriage; Hell grow some *** and sign a pre nuptial agreement. Don't know what state you live in, most states charge 20 for a licence and 25 for divorce. ppl choose to hire attorneys. Those *** are your crooks.non contested divorce can be done for 100 bucks.

If he truly was against the congregation not wanting black marriages at the church, he would have performed the ceremony there regardless.
