Instead of the same old tired news, I want to encourage individuals to view the movie, Killer of Sheep, by Charles Barnett. The movie was made in the '70"s and centers on the life and times of residence who lived in Watts. From what I hear, it's a masterpiece about black life, and I hear that the movie's sound track samples music from artist such as Dinah Washington.
