The dude who runs Planned Parenthood said something similar to what this doc said, but from a different angle. As in pro-lifers don't want abortions, but don't want to pay for the babies when they get here. I'm on the fence about abortion. I don't think it should be used as a form of birth control, but I will not tell a woman/girl that has been raped or a is a victim of incest, that she has to have that baby.

I agree with u 100%. This is my biggest issue with the pro life crowd. It's all good and well to object to abortions but how many of them adopt? How many of them contribute to non profit programs to help children? How many of them choose not to vote for candidates who let them know from the jump that they are going to cut social and educational programs that would benifit children?
The way dude said what he said is jacked up but he has a very valid point.
And I can see the argument that's coming. "Well people should be responsible." But the reality is that some people are not and kids come into this world set up to fail because of that. So where is the compassion and pro lifeyness then?
Well, aside from the terminology, ugly black babies, which he could have left out, I mean, actually the white ones look odd to me, but that's neither here nor there, but my point is, he has a point! I mean, if you gonna insist and demand that a woman keeps her child, though she may feel she can't afford one, not ready, whatever the cause, BUT FOR BIRTH CONTROL MEASURES, just how does that same one think, this child will be provided for. Yeah, the man and woman were irresponsible to be caught up like this, without being prepared, but it happens. So what then? This is my issue with the pro-life movement. Get the hell outta a woman's uterus and get you some business. Are you forking over thousands to take care of said children? Most of these idiots are elitist who in the same breath, will condemn a woman for having multiple children and NO WAY of taking care of them. So to KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid), stay outta people's business.
I agree with those on here that make sense. Of course the pro-life people should put their money where their mouths are. They wanna force people to have these kids, but dont wanna pay for them when they get here.

I feel u on most of what you said but the reason the adoption issue comes up is because it exposes people's almost arbitrary sense of morality. People get all "oh the humanity" over a sperm and egg that recently came together in the case of early term abortion. But when the child is actually here they are like "f@ck it."
Long *** its an example of people's very selective sense of morality. If Ur concern truly comes out of compassion for life, it should extend beyond the birth of the child. The parent's responsibility should have very little effect on one's motivation to want to help children in those situations if one is sincere. And on top of that some of these same people want to only allow certain people to adopt once again based on a selective sense of morality.
