: MediaTakeOut.com just learned that LAST NIGHT VH1 execs held an EMERGENCY conference call, regarding WHAT they're doing with Chad and Evelyn's upcoming reality show "OCHO AND EV" which is being billed as a "love" reality show, and it follows the two FORMER LOVEBIRDS through the planning of their wedding.
Well we're told that ADVERTISERS have already BOUGHT IN to the show, and for VH1 to cancel it . . . they will lose MAJOR MONEY. This afternoon VH1 sent out a release confirming that they are CANCELING THE SHOW!!!
Why should they not show it? They'd already planned to put that show it.. It's business to VH1.. And how is losing your job a publicity stunt

Well given that Chad was dumped from the Dolphins, I would think for his pocket's sake he would need for the show to air. And of course VH-1 is gonna air it; That's more money for them. As far as the network is concerned, it ain't like he killed her, so of course they'll air it, and the fools are gonna watch it...
I said publicity stunt from the getup!! From the first report of him going to jail, i said, "Yep, they tryna boost they ratings for the upcoming show!" Eeeevryone does this when they have a new show about to air, suddenly there's some controversy with them and someone else. But on the soft side, I do like them as a couple; they trip me out! And I pray for the recovery of Ev and hope that their relationship prevails through this episode. Counseling wouldnt be bad for the both of them for Ev's temper and Chad's,... well,uhmm... permiscuity! lol

Chad Johnson just lost another job ... VH1 tells TMZ the network is cancelling plans to air Chad's upcoming reality show in the wake of his domestic violence arrest.
The series, titled "Ev and Ocho" is already in the can and was supposed to debut on Sept. 3.
But now, after Chad was arrested for allegedly headbutting his wife Evelyn Lozada ... VH1 tells us:
"Due to the unfortunate events over the weekend and the seriousness of the allegations, VH1 is pulling the series 'Ev and Ocho' from its schedule and has no current plans of airing it."
The show was a spinoff of "Basketball Wives" ... which followed the couple's relationship from dating to engagement. The new show was supposed to focus on "the journey of this charismatic and passionate couple's every step, as they prepare to walk down the aisle and into each other's hearts forever."

Chad is a football player - enough said. No matter what EVELYN did - he should have maintained his COOL. First - he is a public figure - so anything he does to her or VICE VERSA is magnified 100% in the media. I feel bad for these two - I like them. I wouldn't recommend any woman staying with a man that hits her, but they can't work this out? Too bad - it has to be played out in the public eye - they may have had a chance of patching things up. I just can't believe they are getting DIVORCED already. I mean is this a isolated situation or is he a Lady Beater on a regular basis.
