Apartments in NY are known for being small but they're not cheap. Brooklyn is becoming increasingly popular amongst the rich & famous be because it's low key, yet really close to the city. The crazy part is she's probably paying around $5000/mo for that apartment even though it's small. That's just the market in NYC.

It's as typical an apartment as you'd see in other countries where people live in spaces that are designed for their need - not their want.
