Well Black people allow white people to mistreat us. When we start loving ourselves and respecting ourselves FIRST, other groups will fall in line and honor our self-respect. But right now, black folks do not have respect from Hispanics or Whites or heck any other groups for the matter is because WE as black people DO NOT LOVE NOR RESPECT OURSELVES FIRST. We ALLOW others to disrespect us. Think about it. Take the media for instance. We have hollywood displaying the very filty and negative streotypes about our people everyday all day, YET we as black folks do not speak out against this. We have these music execs portraying our men as ***-craved, booty hungry, materialistic HEATHENS day in and day out, yet we remain silent on the issue.
