Did Santorum give another speech at another Republican Convention? The one I heard spoke loudly of Mitt Romney, so I'm assuming the report is describing another speech somewhere else. At first, I thought MTOâs misleading headlines were mistakes; errors if you will. However, I've come to realize that they are intentional, delusional captions aimed at infuriating most of the readers here who tend to react based on emotions. A staple of media establishments is to 'set the fox among the chickens,' and then sit back and watch as the public engage in asinine, simple-minded diatribe while they cash in on your inner fighting. Arguing instead of discussing, tearing down one another, verbally abusing posters, inner fighting, and breaking down instead of building up one another only hurts you. The sad reality is that while you fight among yourselves, everyone else, except you is winning.
I won't even bother to state the obvious concerning MTO's reading and comprehensive skill set...
I'm very well not an Obama supporter, however I do agree and disagree with Santorum's assertion that Romney ââis the worst Republican in the country to put up against Barack Obama.ââ He frankly isn't the right candidate, but he wouldn't be the worst. That'd probably be a tie between former hopefuls Newt Gingrich and Herman Cain. I'd move clear out of the country if either one of them were ever elected as President. While my personal opinion is that Obama is not the right candidate either, he doesn't make me want to pack up and get my passport ready.
You want to talk about disrespect? What about what the RNC did to Dr. Paul and his delegates? After getting a plurality of delegates of at least 5 states (he got 5 plus the Virgin Islands), the RNC tried to change the rules on the spot to 8 states. The RNC also threw out the Maine delegation (a majority were Ron Paul delegates) and didn't allow a point of order to be taken. The unseated multiple delegates in Massachusetts and Louisiana where Paul won.
During the roll call votes, the RNC spokesperson only repeated the Romney's vote total and didn't mention Paul's votes (although his delegates *** the total).
Delegations from Nevada, Louisiana, Maine, Minnesota and Oklahoma were all located on the outer fringe of the convention floor, whereas the 'powerhouse' and 'swing-state' delegations like those of Puerto Rico and and the Northern Mariana Islands received prime seats on the floors.
And, the RNC rules state anyone nominated for the president would be allowed a 15 minute speech. None such speech from Dr. Paul was allowed.
Republican thugs and hypocrisy.
