: An MTOer lives right in the path of the Hurricane. And she snapped a pic from a local gas station . . . charging $10 A GALLON.
MUTHA*FCKAS!!!
Ok I live not more than a mile from that spot! Lol, that gas station use to belong to a grocery store chain named Brookshires. However, its been close about 2 to 3 years. It appears someone is renovating the actual spot but it absolutely is NOT ope for business. Gas is averaging about $3.59 a gallon!!! So whomever sent MTO this was just trying to get some shine. Thats a bankplus building on the other side of those trees. If you want the truth you can call the Bankplus which is off of Adkins 601-956-3900 NOW WHAT?!!
MTO why y'all lyin' AGAIN!!! I'm a gas fuel driver *** NOONE is charging anywhere near that much for gas. I know because I pull the fuel from Collins, Ms. True, that station has been closed for a long time. It is against the law for anyone to price gouge. The average cost of fuel along the coast is 3.55-3.89 so Mto stop it.
Jackson isn't really considered to be in hurricane territory.
I'm in MS now for business (hate this *** state), closer to the Gulf Coast/New Orleans/Slidell area and many gas stations are out of gas because people were filling up like crazy on Monday. Some stations may have raised prices by Tuesday, but even in areas that actually are affected, the prices don't reach $10 a gallon. Jackson, MS is a *** non-factor. Then again, MS, in general is a *** non-factor - backwards ***, 1840's state. I'll be glad when I get back home. Oh and I'm still wondering why people move to New Orleans, with it's below sea level status, disappearing marshlands, and soft residential land that make it impossible to build sturdier houses in some areas.
