This was during RUN DMC's set around 4:45pm. They came from Gary Clark Jr.'s set (who ROCKED) and actually walked through the park through (MASSIVE PEOPLE) to get back to the Rocky Stage. Thye were there both days and at mostly everyone's show. THE FESTIVAL WAS BANANAS!!!! EVERYONE KILLED IT and I got a pic of RON HOWARD!!!! YAY!!!!! I was there front and center for Jay's set and was on t.v. so the next day I moved around (Jay Electronica, Rita Ora, Afrojack and The Hives killed their sets. The Hives had the whole Philly on tilt, real talk. Rita Ora sounded fabulous too and lots of energy like Odd Future.) Jay performed the 2nd day too with Pearl Jam and rocked 99 Problems rock style - crazy. Eve looked spectacular rocking with Jill Scott and D'Angelo looked and sounded great. MMG rocked (Wale's a cutie - who knew?). RUN DMC - no words. They have records for days and had the park shaking. Passion Pit rocked too. Excellent selection of musicians and music picked for this festival. No drama and everyone had a good time. Freedom Stage was KRAY!!! Set up like club where the DJ's like AfroJack, Calvin Harris, etc. did their thing. That definitely one for the memory. Much more but this is off the top for now. Already amped for next year!!!
Oh and the crowds WENT CRAZY FOR HER!!! NO FLUCKING LIE... EVERY TIME HER FACE WAS SHOWN ON SCREEN because they would show them checking out other people's sets and of course at Jay's set. They were going crazy for Jay too and breaking their necks to touch him. They weren't acting Hollywood or anything. Giving mad love back to everyone.
I see something else entirely -- I betcha he is jealous and possessive. It will come out in the wash as they say, but you never know what's REALLY going on in anyone's life behind closed doors...how many couples have appeared happy only to split later on down the road? I can name many, Seal and Heidi for one, but there are many more, so you never know. Anyhow, I hope they ARE happy and stay together for like fifty years, but you never know....
