He tore into Ryan essentially calling the man a hypocrite and that fact that he was one of the rethuglicans Obama put on the budget committee to cut the deficit by $14 trillion and denied it was really shocking to me. I did not know this! Just as Clinton said Obama deficit reduction plan by $14 trillion and GOP ZERO! He was simply amazing. The convention so far was full of energy with the likes of Deval Patrick, who ripped Romney, and what he came into when Romney left office. Ted Strickland who also ripped Romney a new one. Both wives spoke about their husbands but Michelle Obama was so much more intimate, personal and spoke of a family that had little in the way of material things while growing up, but the most important thing they had received from their families was love. You can see that in both of them. They continue to live modestly. For example, Michelle Obama wore a $200 dress to the convention. Anne Romney wore a $3000 dress. I think we can see who is more in touch with the American people. DNC was excellent!!

Wow, I'm honestly dissappointed. That was the flatest speech I have ever heard him give. There was nothing of substance in that speech. Nothing about the economy, jobs creation(Romney promised 12 million), or getting a handle on the national debt. Well, he did promise 1 million manufacturing jobs in the next four years. That would be 250,000 a year. You need 250,000 new jobs a month, just to keep the economy level. No mention of any other type of job.

The best case every made for his re-election was made last *** by Bill Clinton. An excellent speech by President Clinton on fiscal policy and the inner workings of government. Surperb speech by a brilliant politian.

Obama, would still have to work with a Republican Congress. Supporters of his claim congress refuse to work with him. That problem will still be in play if he's re-elected. Personally, I don't think he has the...uhh...gravitas to negotiate and navigate to a compromising deal. Ronald Reagan, had to work with a Democratic Congress and got bills passed. Same with Bill Clinton, and the Republican Congress he dealt with.

I just watched this speech on YouTube and Bill Clinton pretty much killed it. I didn't read a whole lot of the comments on here but I'm thinkin the Romney camp isn't happy.

Hopefully more democrats will follow Clinton's lead and not play to the bumper sticker slogaons and actually lay out the math of what they are being sold. I think if the majority of the country watches that speech it just may be a wrap.
