: A gew years ago, Vice Young was seen as one of the BRIGHTEST young NFL talents in the world. Now his career appears to be over - and he's DEAD BROKE. What happened, you ask.
Well according to Vince Young, his money managers STOLE all his money. Here's how it's being reported by the AP:
The suit was filed five days after a New York lender notified Young that a loan of nearly $1.9 million obtained in his name during the NFL lockout in 2011 was in default. Young is now seeking to stop the lender, Pro Player Funding LLC, from enforcing a judgment of nearly $1.7 million, claiming he wasn't involved in obtaining the loan and that the proceeds went to Adams and Peoples.
So what do his accountants have to say about it:
Peoples claims in the countersuit that every decision he made was approved by Keith Young [Vince's UNCLE who worked as his manager).
OUCH!!!
And he calls Vince Young's unwillingness to accept responsibility "a common occurrence ... as (former Titans coach) Jeff Fisher, (Texas coach) Mack Brown, numerous NFL executives, coaches, teammates, scouts, girlfriends and illegitimate children will attest."
See thats why you keep a eye on your own money....How you gonna pay someone to do it for you....I bet he learned today....

lots of these guys aren't broke the hide their money to avoid the baby momma and tax man getting that check. I see old broke players all the time. How you got that car and that house? why you ain't at work? you pulled an OJ. OJ was living in a 30k a month house in FLA and kids were in a 20k a month private school. get real people.
Doesn't surprise me. A recent study stated that over 75 percent of pro athletes file for bankruptcy when thier careers end. Unless they play over 5 yrs they recieve no pension even then it's compare able to someone that worked 30yrs at the post office, obviously not enough to cover thier extravagant lifestyle. There you have it!
I remember seeing Vince on a 60 minutes intreview a few year's ago. His last words during the interview was " can"t nobody tell me nothing". I knew then that he was a know it all and was headed for hard times. Vince, I can tell you something, "you are stupid and got exactly what you deserved". know that.
