I did the same thing. Cut off 18 inches of hair to go natural. I love my *** hair and I love Tia'a hair. It takes real confidence to pull it off, something many hair-obsessed women lack.

People always say weaves pull put your hair. Smh I have real long hair down my back and I get a sew in every once in a while. I use to wear weave a lot when I was younger and no damage at all. You gotta know what your doing that's the problem. I wear the weave so I can curl *** burn that hair instead of my own hair!!!!!!!
