If Maia doesn't stay out of the clubs how long you think her sobriety will last?? People don't let you forget your past and that TERRIBLE arrest photo,the other humiliating videos and the gangbanging stories will follow her forever. A little teeth whitening and makeup can't fix that sordid past,only true dedication to being sober....Maia I am happy for you, truly I am and that you are looking and feeling well, but you need to say goodbye to that "ENTIRE INDUSTRY" it's only a matter of time before you're invited somewhere and the drugs are all layed out for you to sample & No recovering drug addict can resist that temptation ask El Debarge,Whitney Houston and a host of others dead or alive recovering celebrity addicts. Instead of making a public comeback just focus on coming back for your precious teenage daughter; please don't come this far just to be turned completely around once again it can and will happen,don't play with matches girl because you will get burnt the *uck up & your so called friends will stand there and watch!

God is so good. He's a miracle worker. Her being out shows she's at a certain comfort level within her recovery and she was NOT totally cracked out...she has a mental illness and was self medicating and obviously taken advantaged of. RIP to her mother and I'm proud of what her "amazing turnaround" represents. Black is strong. Black is beautiful. Sure she's wearing makeup, duh, she's an LA girl. But what I can't understand is how Paris, Lindsay, Britney Or Kim ***...have all either been caught up in some way([EXPLETIVE]drugs,exploited,mental illness,etc) *** black people will revel over them or hold them in a higher regard than/and would put this sister down. I disagree because I work with people that use to do crack and now they have more than most of you. They have college degrees, homes, and material things. You can tell by some people's comments that they must live a sad pathetic average life. Addiction is an illness and has no mercy on anybody. It takes a strong person to deal with addiction, abuse and mental illness and get back on track. It's a lot of successful famous people been where she's been... Natalie Cole , Samuel L Jackson, Fergie just to name a few. I applaud her at making an attempt to get back in the game and live a life of sobriety. It's easy to come on a silly blog and hide behind your computer screens and criticize. It's some bitter azz pople in the world. She was beautiful then and she is beautiful now.
