As far as the boys go, I was an idiot at 16 too. I was far from rich, but getting drunk and getting high was like a rite of passage. As many of us here were absent of a societal tradition of passage from child to adult, so too are the wealthy. Kids, absent of structure, come up with their own rituals. Getting wasted unfortunately happens to be one of rituals adopted by far too many for acceptance and the appearance of being grown, irrespective of zip code. Too bad these young men have to have their regrettable experience shown to the world. I hope they did learn something as well as their parents.
