I would call the credit bureau's and have them put an alert on your credit reports. This makes it harder for someone to open anything in your name. You will have to jump through a few more hoops in the meantime if you try to open an acct or something but better safe than sorry

no your checking acct # isn't on there. If it's your last four digits of your ss# I wouldn't owrry about it then. They can't get far. But to be safe put one on there anyways

@ scrop.... i just talked to a credit bureau and i requested a fraud alert and the lady said they could still do something with those last 4 digits. i just hope the paper was thrown away. idk how i lost it when i stuck the paper IN my pocket,folded. i don't bring my purse to work.
