I believe the Sabbath is still in effect today. After reading and meditating on Isaiah 58 in its entirety, with special emphasis on the last verse, I started worshiping on the Sabbath. When ever someone ask me about where I go to church, I tell them I worship on the Sabbath at a Messianic synagogue. Then next question is always, "what are you, Jewish". No, I am not Jewish I am a Christian who worships on the Sabbath......then the next comment is always, We free to worship any day we want when Christ came. Then I say, you are right, so I choose to worship on the Sabbath....
Biggs718 Me personally am a seventh day Adventist! Jews are holy but the only problem is they dont believe jesus as the son of God or jesus is God and the bible speaks on believing in his son is the only way *********************************************************

As far as the Sabbath, the only way you can tell the true Sabbath is by following the cycles of the Moon. Times and days have been changed so much throughout history, so many conflicting calendars have been used that you don't even truly know what day it is. The cycles of the moon can never be changed by man though...
You are right in that some Jews do not believe that Jesus has already been here. They are looking for him to come the first time.
However, I attend a Messianic Jewish Congregation, meaning they believe that Jesus is the son of God. They teach from the old and new testament. They observe the holy days God established, which are found in the book of Leviticus. I have been attending services for a little over a year now and have a great deal to learn.
Yes, we worship from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday. Our service is on Friday evening, after which we have communion, then eat and fellowship.
As for SDA, I attended services a few years ago with my sister. Everything was fine until I realized Ellen White was being preached right next to the bible as though her teachings were equally truthful and equally important as the Bible. Then we were given literature that said Jesus was the Archangel Michael as well as the Son of God. I was not comfortable with that.
I have been on my spiritual journey for while now and I have encountered tradition, truth, error, lies and other gospels. My desire is to worship God in spirit and in truth. After all, the whole duty of man is to worship God.
As for the messianic Jews, the ones whom I have encountered, identify themselves with the new Testament Jews who followed Jesus. They appear to be well versed in Torah and the teachings of Messiah.
I hope I have not offended you or anyone else, I'm simply sharing my experiences.
If you believe that jesus will resurrect, read Dan.12:1 . In heaven jesus is an angel. Came to earth tho as a human being because it would defeat the purpose because everybody might be scared or whatever reason, but e came as a man. Michael means one like God. What is jesus? In Dan12:1 it reads that michael shall stand etc. Referring to the end if yu continue reading. And read 1 thess 4:16 it saids the lord will come with the voice of the archangel , thus showing the voice of human jesus is not as wonderful as the voice of him( michael the archangel) in heaven. And about EGW i understood until i read her books and came tothe conclusion that many of what she has wrote cleared alot of the bible for myself and helped me get through some things by translations and knowledge. Who is there to say that God didnt bless her with the knowledge wosdom and understanding of the word and he used her? If you find one fault please let me know( not being hostile) but its like technology, it was found to be good *** helpful so its used daily. We should contact eachother on the phone or something.

I believe that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that he came to this earth to die for our sins so that we can receive forgiveness and have a relationship and communion with the Almighty God of the universe; not an angel, never an angel.
As for Ellen White and her teachings, I strongly disagree with the practice of inter mingling her teachings with the Word of God. I can say with absolute, unadulterated certainty that every Word of God is true. Can the same be said of Ellen White’s teachings and prophecies? My experiences with SDA did not line up with the Word as it was taught where I attended.
Listen, if you have found what you believe to be true through SDA and its teachings and you are growing spiritually, it’s a good thing. I am in no way passing judgment.
No you honestly havent. But please do explain Dan 12:1 to me and tell me who is being spoken of. & i understand where your coming from with the whole EGW situation but dispite that show me a prophecy that isnt being fulfilled that she has said . Things ahe has said years & year ago is taking place but its not like we worship her or have her in our prayers so it cant be said like we worship her along with God but just saying. Show me something thats not the truth and please explain dan 12:1 and what is the Torah? Not disrespecting. But what exactly is illustrated in it? Im going to check it out now but i wanna hear from you so please reply to 1)Explain dan 12:1;1thess4:16. 2) what is the Torah 3) show me false in EGW.
And listen please. Michael the arch angel. In heaven didnt come down as he was as a full angel so it was in human form to show us how to live(named jesus). The is one God but three parts the Father(God) The Son (Jesus,still in the one God so jesus is God) & the Holy ghost ( God as well) while jesus was on earth he still prayed to God the father reading Matthew 28:19 it says baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and of the Holy Ghost.. He was still God but had to show an example for us so he didnt go about and even take himself off the cross. He died for us. Wen we pray its in Jesus' name. Because we are not worthy to just pray to God the father himself if not through hus son Jesus Christ.you saying that angels arent holy too? Because you said we will commune with God yes we will but as well as the angels you cant blot the angels out because they are of Gods the bible says ther angels will be with jesus coming playing the trumpets and all eyes shall see him.. Jesus is on the right hand of God the fathers throne. Jesus (God) will come down . And it said the lord will come and in the voice of michael the archangel (so the voice of him in heaven). Im 17 & the bible is nothing new or SDA is not something im learning but learned and studied and know.
Ellen G White has been a false prophet on several occassions....and a good amount of her work has been plaigiarised. Yet SDA's want to overlook this and pretend it didn't happen when they know it did. Seventh Day-Adventists think that they are the creme de la creme of christian denominations because they worship on Saturday but they are just as confused and lost as the rest of the denominations. Ciristianity is Paganism 2.0! There has never been a Hebrew named Jesus in the history of the world! It is impossible because there is no J in the Hebrew alphabet...the name Jesus cannot even be pronounced in the Hebrew tongue. These are FACTS! Don't take my word for it...do the simple research for yourself.
Daniel 12:1 talks about Michael, the archangel, who rises to protect the children of God in the end times. Michael is also talked about in Jude 1:9 as having to fight Satan over the body of Moses and said “May the Lord Rebuke you”. If he is the Messiah, why would he say this? Why would he not bring accusations against satan? Jesus is a man of peace, No where in scripture do we see Jesus “contending or physically fighting” with anyone. He fought with The Word.
1Thessalonians 4:16 talks about Jesus descending from heaven with a *** and with the voice of the archangel. With is the operative word, not in. The voice is with Jesus, not in Jesus. Revelation 12:7 further states that Michael and his angels fought against the dragon and prevailed. He is obviously a powerful Lead Angel, whose role is to fight for or protect the people of God. Michael is a created being.
The Torah is the first 5 books of the Old Testament. It is the foundation by which God instructed his chosen people to live.
As for Ellen White, she predicted said she would be alive when the Lord returns, but she’s dead. She predicted the Lord would return before slavery was abolished in this country, but it ended between 1865 and 1867. She said God spoke to her in a vision and told her the day and hour Jesus would return, but when she “came to” she forgot. Jesus said no man knows the day or the hour. This information can be found in her “Early Writings”.
Now correct me if I’m wrong, but the mark of a true Prophet of God is whatever the prophecy is, it will not be contrary to the Word and it will come to pass.
1)It says michaels angels whose oppsing in te war. Arent they Gods angels? Jesus is God . Named michael in heaven. 2) it talks bout michael condeming with satan, how is an angel so powerful to speak w/ the devil himself? It is jesus (michael the arch angel) God can look satan in his eye and not be decieved like his other angels.3) the name "michael" means one like God. The only one like God is Jesus. Son of God. 4)To sum it up alol Dan 12:1 says and that time shall michael stand up, THR GREAT PRINCE WHICH STANDETH FOR THE CHILDREN OF THY PEOPLE. Jesus died for us. 5) and we know the war in heaven is really really important. Then why isnt God taking part? He is Jesus is michael the archangel and jesus is God. && tell me in which books and pages of EGW that she said those " false prophesies" its one thing to say and believe and another to prove and believe.
@BeautyBlack....Yahweh is the Most High! God is a title not a name. When people say god, I don't know who they are referring to. Anyone or anything can be their god. Why is that Allah has a name and Buddha has a name, and every other false god has a name, but when it comes to the Most High they never say Yahweh?
