June 29, 2012: Now I would never have sent my daughter to school with her hair braided like that, but what if this child had a medical problem, like a hugh tuma on their face, would she be sent home. What if someone complain that mohawks were distracting to some people would the kids be sent home. I think it's a bit much. I wouldn't have sent her home because it makes her think she did something wrong. However, I would have called the parent and told her that it's too distracting and then if I was the mom because it took probably more than 8 hours to do the little girls hair like that and she has a right to wear her hair the way she wants, it's not vulgar, heck it about cereal, so If I was the mom, I would just buy a cheap but decent looking wig and have the child wear it to school, then take it off when she gets off the school bus or school ground, that way the child can wear her hair do after the school, but why do it in the first place.
