: So me an my girl (who happens to be a Muslim) were coming back from her sister's house. She was wearing a hijab (google it if you're an uncultivated negro) and we were just walking through our local park. We were sitting down on the bench eating, when three muslims guys walked past us. I didn't notice them at first but my girl did. She claimed they were staring at us but I wasn't paying attention.
About ten minutes later they came back and one of them stuck their hand out to me and said "Asalum Alakum". I just simply said "What's good bro?". And he was like "Oh wait... you're not muslim?" And I told him, "It's none of your *** business what I am." Then this fool had the nerve to say to me "You *** be with this fine young muslim woman. You're the infidel." I was about to tear this guy a new ásshole but they backed then when they knew I wasn't playing about.

I agree that it's the person, but it's not the first time I've got funny looks from other Muslims when me and my girl are together (when she's wearing a hijab). It's weird because it's the kind of look you'd expect from people when you're in an interracial relationship (she's mixed/black)

I see where you're coming from. The thing is though, she's not really orthodox about her religion, so she rarely does wear a hijab... but when she does it causes all kinds of trouble. I'm not gonna tell her not to wear it because of the beef is usually brings... I'm not like that. But it's the idiots who start the the trouble because of it that annoy me.

Truthfully speaking....... Muslim men are permitted to date outside of the religion because the woman they marry is supposed to follow her king even if it's to a mud hut....lol. So it is likely that the woman will always convert. On the other hand.....muslim women are very humble and except being second to men, even their sons and should only date muslim men so they will be lead by someone of the same faith. My question is.....why is she dating you when her faith deems you inappropriate to lead her? Is she a true muslim? Does her family know you are leading their daughter?

I stepped away from the religion for the same reason when i got older. I was forced to wear a hijab when i was younger. I became a teenage mom. It disrespected my father. I was told to choose how i wanted to live and quit straddling the fence. I stopped wearing the hijab that day. If it is not mandatory for her way of life i would respectfully ask her not to wear it with you b/c it causes problems.

We met each other quiet some time ago. I didn't even know she was a Muslim until she came into college in a hijab some time ago. I mean we kicked it and we've been together for 2 years. Her dad converted from Rastafari to Islam... so maybe he's more relaxed with it. He seems cool with it. It's just people who don't know us.
