: Young Money rapper Drake has reportedly received his very own University of Kentucky 2011-2012 championship ring just months after the Wildcats won the national title.
While details are still coming together, a photo of Drizzy's Kentucky ring landed online yesterday (July 29).
The University of Kentucky basketball program apparently bestowed rapping legend Drake with a national championship ring. This may or may not be related to the artist performing after the "Big Blue Madness" ceremony held in 2009 when John Calipari was named head coach of the team. There's probably little point in asking why, but it doesn't take a genius to conclude that this has to be one of the dumbest gestures in recent memory. Drake? Really? Perhaps, perhaps, Tupac or Biggie if they were still with us, neither of which appeared on "Degrassi: The Next Generation" as a child. (The Big Lead)
