: Is it just me or does MTO constantly post things that bash our fellow bothers and sisters rather than shine positive light on them. It's bad enough mainstream media gives them a hard way to go and now you who pride yourselves on being an AA site do the very same thing. I would love just once for them to post pictures of the people (more than likely women) who run this site... Because it is beyond my understanding how you go on people of your very own race like it's natural what was the last positive thing you posted??? I used to enjoy this site for the gossip now it's like people behind the scenes are making up majority of this stuff!!!! Myra Panache post the blind items on her site: www.panachereport.com however all of her blind items and gossip is done with tact and class where is yours MTO???
I must say that I do agree. I used to enjoy MTO gossip of whats going on in the media. But lately they have been posting all this trash about how all the brothers and sisters look. This morning the worst article was about how the female celebrities have HIT THE WALL. We don’t need to know and don’t need you to categories all of them like that. Let them do there thing. Its just amazing that they cant find real news to talk about. I would like to know why u are still payin these people for theses articles. They aren’t putting any though into what they are putting out there. It’s just a bad image your sending. A warning for MTO is someone is going to come up with the same type of website but wont be doggin all the African Americans as u have. Then youll be put OUT-OF-BUSSINESS.
MTO is a joke. You can't take this stuff seriously. It's probably just people trying to see how far a rumor can go (like seeing it on the news or something). But I see it like this. We hardly get any info in mainstream media about black celebrities, unless they are really BIG like Beyonce or are with some white show like Grey's Anatomy. So when I found this site it was refreshing reading stuff that didnt have anything to do with Paris Hilton & Brittany Spears and whomever else. It was just good reading something about black people. But i was a fool and was believing everything that was posted. I came to the realization that this is just entertainment and I can't take it seriously. So you *** either.
I also would like to see more positive stories about black celebrities but the only way to do that is for those people who want it to produce it. If we just keep sitting back and letting white america run *** we will always be the underdog as far as citizens in this country. The hispanics are taking over, so why haven't we already????
Ablaze and Filmlvr99 Check out [SPAM].blogspot.com she is great as well as Panachereport.com they are both great sites and give real news as well as gossip in the AA community...Panache also reports on real news like blk celebrities that died with lil fanfare stuff we have rarely heard of... I think you will each enjoy it based on what you left as comments on here.. Enjoy
Child your not alone because I've made a post very simular to this one and this & they deleted it. But I honestly think that black ppl don't even own MTO cus no black person would want to display they're ppl like this. I wish I could find a way for ppl to boycott this site or whatever. Because there is almost no place for postive black exposure on the net. You can honestly just email MTO any fake story and they'll post it up as real. I've known ppl who've done it and have seen it happen.
