Franki, yes we've lost a lot of black people at a young age.

I remember seeing something a while back about a theory that slavery contributed to today's African American people predisposition to suffer from hypertension etc. Supposedly the theory is that slaves amongst other things were chosen based on how little they sweat. The less you sweat, the more valuable I guess because you were less prone to get dehydrated in the field. Anyway, this trait was desirable and thus passed down genetically. Side effect of sweating less is that you retain more salt.

But anyway, whatever the reason...we sure dont seem to last long. Even well off dudes.
